How Does the Tokenomics Designer Build a Model?

Six stages, from project input to exportable model.

  1. STEP 1

    📥Project Input

Describe your token project: the type of protocol (DeFi, GameFi, DAO, RWA, NFT platform), the token's utility, your fundraising history, team size, and target launch timeline. The more detail you provide, the more accurate the tokenomics model.

  2. STEP 2

    🎯Project Classification

The AI classifies your project into a known tokenomics archetype: utility token, governance token, security token, hybrid model, or play-to-earn model. Each archetype has established distribution patterns that inform the initial model.

  3. STEP 3

    👥Stakeholder Mapping

Based on your project description, we identify the relevant stakeholder categories: team, investors, ecosystem fund, community rewards, liquidity, treasury, advisors, and public sale. Allocation percentages are suggested based on comparable successful projects.

  4. STEP 4

    🗓️Vesting Schedule Generation

Vesting schedules are generated for each stakeholder category following industry best practices: team tokens typically vest over 4 years with 1-year cliff, investor tokens over 2-3 years, community rewards distributed over protocol lifetime.

  5. STEP 5

    📈Supply Economics

Total supply, initial circulating supply, and emission schedule are calculated based on your inputs. We model inflationary vs deflationary mechanics, burn mechanisms, and staking rewards where applicable.

  6. STEP 6

    📄Model Export

The complete tokenomics model is exportable as a formatted PDF report and JSON data file. The report includes distribution pie chart, vesting timeline, supply schedule, and rationale for each decision.

What Are the Limitations?

What it does well

  • Standard token distribution models
  • Common vesting schedules
  • Known protocol archetypes
  • Basic supply economics
  • Stakeholder allocation patterns

What it may miss

  • Novel tokenomics mechanisms
  • Regulatory compliance advice (not a legal or financial advisor)
  • Market condition projections
  • Protocol-specific edge cases
  • Complex multi-token systems

Important disclaimer

The Blockhertz AI Tokenomics Designer generates suggested models based on comparable projects and industry patterns. Output is not financial or legal advice. Token economics involves regulatory considerations that vary by jurisdiction — always consult qualified legal and financial advisors before launching a token.
